Antique Vintage GEO. F. HEWETT Co. Soda Bottle – Worcester Mass. – Early 1900s

Vintage heavy clear glass GEO.F. HEWETT Co. soda bottle in good condition for its age.  The front shoulder of the bottle is embossed with the company trademark.
The bottom rear is embossed REGISTERED.  There is a tiny nick on the front neck of the bottle and a small chip (or manufacturer’s defect) midway down the back of the bottle. There is a light inside haze on the left side of the bottle. This bottle was rescued from the bottom of Lake Quinsigamond in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts.  It was retrieved near Plum Island / Tatassit Beach where there was a social club in the early 1900s.  People would drink their beverages at the water’s edge and then just toss their bottles into the lake.  Bottle measures ~ 8 1/2” long and 2 1/4” in diameter.  Please see photos for condition.
